Friday-Twenty-seventh Week in Ordinary Time

Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Prayer ...
Heavenly Father, every good thing we have in our life has come because of you Lord. The family we have been blessed with, the protection we have received, the worth that we hold, the successes we have enjoyed, the expectation we have, the salvation we have expected, and the future we wait for are all ours because of your grace and not our goodness. Thank you! In the name of Infant Jesus we thank you more! Amen.

Meditation on Today's Gospel:
There are only two kingdoms which stand in opposition to one another – the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness which is under the rule of Satan. If we refuse to comply God's word, we open to door with the control of sin and Satan. If we want to live in true liberty, then our heart must be occupied by Jesus where he is crowned as Lord and Savior. The Lord assures us of his safety from spiritual harm and he gives us the help and power we need to resist the devil and his lies. Because you have made the Lord your shelter, the Most High your territory, no evil shall take place on you, no scourge come near my tent. Lord Jesus, be the ruler of our heart and the master of our dwelling place. May there be nothing in our life that is not under your lordship.
