  Prayer ...
Heavenly Father, and Almighty Creator, magnificent Architect and Everlasting Engineer, it absolutely puzzles and delights us to know that you care for us. With all the things of such vast significance, we find your desire to know and love us humbling and assuring. Thank you, dear Father, in Infant Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Meditation on Today's Gospel: (Luke 6:12-19)
Wherever Jesus went the people approached to him because they had heard all the things Jesus did. They were hungry for God and desired healing from their difficulties. In faith they pressed upon Jesus to lay a hand on him. When they did consequently power came from Jesus and many were healed. Even demons trembled in the appearance of Jesus and left at his admonish. Jesus offers freedom from the power of sin and domination to all who seek him with hopeful faith. When we hear God's word and believe all that Jesus did, how do we respond? With doubt or with hopeful faith? With uncertainty or with confident trust? Ask the Lord to increase our faith in his saving power and grace.
