Romans 12:15: Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.
Prayer …
Heavenly Father, thank you for the new day. Lead us to the people today who need their burdens lifted and their joys shared. Let us be your presence in the world of your children today. This we ask in Infant Jesus' name. Amen.

Short Reflection on Today's Gospel (Mark 10:17-27)
Those who are liberal towards God and towards their neighbor find that they cannot out-give God in his generosity towards us. God blesses us with the precious treasures of his kingdom – freedom from fear and the griping control of sin, selfishness and pride which block his love and elegance in our lives; freedom from loneliness, separation and rejection which keep his children from living together in love, peace, and harmony; and freedom from hopelessness, despair, and disillusionment which blind our vision of God's power to heal every hurt, bind every wound, and remove every mark which ruin the image of God within us. God offers us treasure which with cash cannot buy. He alone can truly satisfy the deepest wish and desires of our heart. Are we willing to part with no matter which might keep us from seeking true joy with Jesus?
