Isaiah 9:6: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Heavenly Father, on a day so splendid, when the world pauses and acknowledges your gift of Infant Jesus, all we can think to say is simply "Thank you! Thank you very much!" Then we are reminded once again that all we have come from him, because it is in his name, Infant Jesus, Immanuel, we pray. Amen.

In the birth of John and in the birth of Jesus the Messiah we observe the grace of God breaking forth into a world broken by sin and death and without anticipate. John’s miraculous birth demonstrates the mercy and goodwill of God in prepare his people in support of the coming of its Lord and Savior, the Christ. When God takes action to save us he graciously fills us with his Holy Spirit and puts together our faith "alive" to his promises. Do we make our life an offering to God, along with your family, and all that you have? God wants to fill us with his splendor all the days of our lives, from birth through death.
