When the Counselor comes, he will bear witness to Jesus

1 Peter 2:24: He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

Heavenly Father, how you could stand to see your precious Son under the weight of our sin, all sin, we will never understand. Thank you for such a great love and for being so great a God. Your greatness is beyond imagining and your love beyond my dreams. We will live today to your glory through Jesus who bore our sin so we could be your child. In the precious name of your Son we pray. Amen.

Meditation on Today's Gospel: (John 15:26-16:4a)
Jesus cautioned his disciples that they could expect maltreatment just as Jesus was opposed and treat with opposition. Through the gift and effective actions of the Holy Spirit disciples become witnesses to the great work of God in Jesus. We too have been given the Holy Spirit to assist us live as disciples of Jesus Christ. The Spirit provides us courage and insistence when we meet adversities and confronts. Do we pray for the Holy Spirit to make stronger us in faith, hope and love and to give you bravery and perseverance with hope when you meet adversities and confronts. Holy Spirit who gives life – the exceptionally life of God – and who kindles faith in hearts open to God's word. The Spirit creates it possible for us to know God for ourselves. He gives us empirical knowledge of God as our Father. The Spirit spectators to our spirit that the Father has certainly sent his Son into the world to exchange it and has raised his Son Jesus from the dead and has made him to seat at his right hand in glory and power. What does Jesus say to us about the Holy Spirit? First, the Holy Spirit is inseparably be one with the God Almightily and the Son. The Holy Spirit make known to us the knowledge, insight and plan of God for the ages and the Spirit allow us to see with the "eyes of faith" what the Father and the Son are responsibility.
