You have a fine way of rejecting the commandments of God

Matthew 5:43-45: You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.
  Let us Pray ...
Heavenly Father, thank you for loving us when we were still an enemy to you. Thank you for risking the death of your Son to offer us the chance to accept or reject your love. As you have promised, please pour your love into our heart so we may love even our enemies as you have loved us. In the name of your Infant Jesus we pray. Amen.

Meditation on Today's Gospel: (Mark 7:1-13)
If we pay attention to God's word with faith and respect, it will both enlighten our mind ands purify the hearts - thus enabling us to better understand how he wants us to love and follow him. The Lord invites us to draw near to him and to feast at his banquet table. Do you come close to with a clean heart and mind? Ask the Lord to purify and renew you with the clearance fire of his Holy Spirit. Jesus accused them specially of two things. First of insincerity. Like actors, who put on demonstrate, they show to obey God's word in their external practices while they privately harbor evil desires and intentions. Secondly, he accused them of abandoning God's word by substituting their own advice and clever interpretations for what God requires. They listened to clever advice rather than to God's word. Jesus refers them to the prediction of Isaiah where the prophet accuses the people of his day for worship God with their lips while their hearts gone lost because of noncompliance to God's laws.
