With what can we compare the kingdom of God

John 4:24: God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship him in spirit and in truth.
  Let us Pray ...
Heavenly Father, by the gift of your Spirit we come to you as your child. Thank you so much for giving us your Spirit so that we can approach you with confidence and know you hear the concerns of our heart. Please accept the worship of our heart, of our words, and of our actions. May the things we do each day bring you glory. In Infant Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Meditation on Today's Gospel: (Mark 4:26-34)
The Lord of the Universe is ever prepared to transform us by the control of his Spirit. Are you ready to let God alter you by his grace and power? The realm of God produces a change in those who get the new life which Jesus Christ tenders. What can mustard seeds educate us about the kingdom of God? The small mustard seed factually grew to be a tree which attracted many birds because they loved the little black mustard seed it created. God's kingdom works in a similar fashion. Paul the Apostle says, "we have this wealth in earthen vessels, to demonstrate that the inspiring power belongs to God and not to us". Do you consider in the transforming power of the Holy Spirit? It starts from the least beginnings in the hearts of men and women who are amenable to God's word. And it works hidden and causes a transformation from within. Just as a seed has no authority to change itself until it is planted in the earth, so we cannot modify our lives to be like God until God gives us the authority of his Holy Spirit. When we yield to Jesus Christ, our lives are distorted by the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.
