With God nothing will be impossible

Jeremiah 17:7-8: Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought.
  Let us Pray ...
Heavenly Father, we know you are with us! In the morning, in the evening, in the long nights, we know we are not unaccompanied. Thank you for knowing us and going with us through all our days. Please make your presence known to us this day, and certainly every day, as we look for to respect you in what we do and speak. In the name of Infant Jesus, our Lord, we ask this. Amen.

Meditation on Today's Gospel: Luke 1:26-38
We see the wonderful unfolding of God's plan of salvation in the events leading up to the Incarnation, the birth of the Messiah. Mary's prompt response of "yes" to the divine message is a model of faith for all believers. Mary believed God's assure even when they seemed not possible. She was full of grace because she trusted that what God said was true and would be fulfilled. She was willing and eager to do God's will, even if it seemed difficult or costly. God gives us grace and he waited for us to respond with the same readiness, obedience, and heart-felt trust as Mary did. Do you want to live a grace-filled life? The angel Gabriel salutes Mary as "full of grace". To become the mother of the redeemer, Mary was enriched by God with gifts to enable her to assume this overwhelming role. There is a venerable tradition among many Christians, dating back to the early church, for worship Mary as the spotless virgin who bore the Son of God in her womb. "Being obedient she became the cause of deliverance for herself and for the whole human race." The knot of Eve's defiance was united by Mary's obedience: what the virgin Eve bound through her incredulity, Mary loosened by her faith." What is the key that can unlock the power and grace of God’s kingdom in our personal lives? Faith and obedience for sure! When Adam and Eve violated God, they at once experienced the result of their action – taking apart from the God who loved them. God in his mercy promised them a Savior who would pay the price for their sin and the sin of the world. When God commands he also gives the grace, strength, and means to answer. We can either yield to his elegance or resist and go our own way. Do you believe in God's promises and do you give up to his grace?.
