Love your neighbour as yourself

Romans 13:9-10: The commandments, "Do not commit adultery," "Do not murder," "Do not steal," "Do not covet," and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: "Love your neighbour as yourself." Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
  Let us Pray...
Heavenly Father, you gave Moses the Law on tablets of stone, please write your character and will on our heart that we might be a living stone, testifying to your righteousness and grace. Help us to think more carefully about how our neighbors feel before we act or react to them, not only just today, but every day in our life, In the name of Infant Jesus we pray. Amen.

For the whole commands of law nothing else but that everyone love God and our neighbour. But seeing this Paul speaks here of the duties everyone owe one to the another, we must restrain this word of law to the second table of the ten commandments. If there be any other or more particular commandment toward our neighbour, as there are many in the law. It is summed up in this way, so that if you were not thinking of it, yet if your heart was full of love, you would fulfil it. Would not it be great if we did not have to have laws to keep people in line. That is the point behind Paul's message in his letter to Romans. Treat our neighbors like as we would like to be treated. Love them as we like to be loved. If we do that, then we are not going to do anything that would hurt them, much less violate a command of law.
