If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God

James 1:5: If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

Thoughts on Today's Verse...
As we celebrate the feast of the Nativity of the blessed virgin Mary, let us pray to her that same simplicity and who became the mother of creator can bring into our life and for others. in today verse we discuss about wisdom which elusive quality we respect in others and find so difficult to develop in ourselves. God promises it to those who really ask it is given. God longs to impart this, but there is something about spiritual wisdom that demands we value that before we can receive it. Jesus' teaching always to be joyful under troubles, such exercises are sent from God's love, and difficulties in the way of duty will brighten our graces now, and our crown at last. Let us take care oneself, in times of difficulties, that patience, and not passion, is set to work in us: whatever is said or done, let patience have the saying and doing of it. When the work of patience were completed, it would furnish all that was necessary for our Christian race and warfare. I should not pray so much for the removal of affliction, as for wisdom to make a right use of it. And who does not want wisdom to guide us under trials, both in regulating our own spirit, and in managing our affairs? Here is something in answer to every discouraging turn of the mind, when I go to God under a sense of my own weakness and folly. If, after all these, any should say, This may be the case with some, but we fear we shall not succeed, the promise is, To any that ask, it shall be given.
Wishing all a very happy Feast.

Let us Pray...
Gracious Father, giver of all good gifts, please bless us with wisdom throughout our remaining life and especially today. Let us reflect your will and live for your glory in all our decisions. Let your Kingdom guide our heart as we make our choices and seek to have your Spirit lead us in your ways. We confess, Father, that we cannot guide our own steps without your help, so please grant us wisdom for each day. We pray in Infant Jesus name. Amen.
